The Meridian Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) is dedicated to supporting the success of both existing and new businesses in our community. Our purpose centers on practical business support, clear communication, and fostering a welcoming, business-friendly environment for entrepreneurs and investors.
The MEDC pursues a focused mission: to attract new investment, support downtown retail and hospitality, and promote small business entrepreneurship. Our goals are to recruit and expand local businesses, retain and assist existing enterprises, activate vacant properties and shovel-ready sites, and elevate Meridian as a gateway to the Top of the Hill Country, with regional access to Waco, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, and Stephenville.
